A little about me...
My name is Sarah Nicole, and I am a Graphic Designer. I was born and raised in Hobbs, a thriving oilfield town in Southeastern New Mexico. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to participate in the arts. Beginning at the age of 4, I was instructed in ballet and tap at Maciolek School of Dance until I turned 9. Later, I played the clarinet for 6 years of concert band, and 5 years of marching band. Once I was a senior in high school, I caught the theatre bug and have not been able to give it up since. In 2017, I received an award for "Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role" for my performance as Laura Wingfield in "The Glass Menagerie." I have always loved to sing, so I participated in church choirs, joined a local acapella group, and love having those solo jam sessions in the car. Drawing is also a lifelong passion. When the urge hits, I can't help but grab a sketch pad and express myself on its pages.
I attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico, where I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design. After school, I was accepted into the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, where I was trained in customer service. I worked for the "Mouse "until my 8 month program was over. Upon returning home, I began my career in Graphic Design at the Economic Development Corporation of Lea County as the Coordinator of Digital Media in 2015. Through this position, I was accepted into a local 9 month leadership course through the J.F. Maddox Foundation and the University of Georgia's J.W. Fanning Institute.
I moved to Celina, Texas in May 2021 and married the love of my live in July 2022. I work as a Senior Sales Staff Member at Club Pilates Prosper but in my free time, I stream video games live on Twitch.tv and have created a YouTube channel under the name Coolstra_Ice. I also freelance with Fiverr.com. You can find my gigs under the username SarahNDesign.
